Finally got the spindles opened up to accept the MASSIVE CTS-V 6-piston brakes. Spindles are currently drying from a few coats of primer. While waiting on that, I prepped the UMI Performance Inc. front control arms and loosely installed them in the k-member and pointed the zerk fittings out to where I could easily service them.

Still waiting on a set of 18” wheels, have to send out my injectors to get cleaned and a list of other items. A whole lot less boxes filled with parts though. This thing is getting closer...

Rather big looking calipers. Is the 18” size minimum with those? Are you using them with OEM discs or with more radical discs?

I just bough a pair of weirdly large Brembo calipers used in Citroën C8 (V6 engined) minivan. They were used with 310x32 mm brake discs. I’m pretty sure that I can still use 17” aluminum wheels with these if I don’t enlarge the diameter a lot. The calipers are radial mounted so it would be easy to adjust them for larger diameter brake discs.

Yeah 18” is the minimum.

I’ll use OEM brake rotors, but they’re pretty intense in their own right.

CTS-V uses floating discs? That’s both surprising and nice.

I believe it is one of the premium options. Some were getting them free of charge due to a tsb on wheel clicking issue.
